Mr. Shahid, has over 25 years of experience as a Civil / structural engineer with a main focus on building structures. Mr. Shahid has served as a Project Engineer, Senior Engineer, Project Executive, and Director of Structural Engineering dealing with all facets of design and management of complex structural projects. His experience includes the design of high rise structures in high wind and seismic regions, structural hardening of structures under blast loading. As a structural engineer his experience has also included design of commercial, residential, industrial, off shore structures (Waste water treatment plants, water reservoirs etc) healthcare and educational facilities using different construction methods and materials. Mr. Shahid’s experience also includes site development projects including design of bridges and culverts, site stabilization structures like gravity, retaining and gabion walls. Mr. Shahid has worked with a multitudes of public and private clients including DRPA Delaware River Port Authority, PHA (Philadelphia Housing Authority) Philadelphia International Airport, The Philadelphia Parking Authority, and several reputable architectural and private sector firms. |
