Authority (PAHA):
AEG is provided Construction Management Services for
decentralization of heating and hot water systems at
William A. Dunlap Homes, Perth Amboy, New Jersey.
The work includes demolition and removal of portions
of existing mechanical systems, construction of new
boiler room, installation of new hydronic boilers,
piping and radiators, installation of new domestic
hot water heating equipment and piping, and
installation of new gas piping.
Scope of services included:
- Conduct field inspection to determine existing conditions.
- Prepare itemized cost estimate
- Assist in the bidding process
- Assist in evaluation of bids
- Attend pre-construction meeting with selected Contractor
- Review submittals, shop drawings and samples
- Weekly Site visits or as-needed and progress reports
- Job meetings & minutes
- Provide recommendations to Authority to resolve issues during construction
- Assist in preparation of change orders
- Review and approval of Contractor’s payments
- Final Inspection & punch list
- Certification of acceptance of work
- As-built drawings and project documents
- Perform an inspection during warranty period
