Structural Integrity Inspection & Rectification
Details for 30,000 SF Community Center including inspection of Site Civil &
Storm water Drainage System at Albany, NY for ICCD:
AEG provided structural integrity inspection and rectification details of
30,000 SF community center at Albany, NY for Islamic Community of Capital
District (ICCD).
Structural Integrity Inspection included:
Inspection of 30,000 SF three story building including structural steel
columns, bracings, connections, concrete floors, metal deck and joists,
concrete floors and concrete retaining walls.
- Indepth inspection of critical locations using hammer for sounding the
concrete and to determine the section losses in corroded structural steel
members;
- Inspection of storm water management system and detention basins for proper
disposal of storm water.
- Preparation of report showing location and detail of proposed rectifications
and deficiency photographs.
- Review constructability based on the final drawings included details of all
utility connection, sidewalks, ramps, curbs, pavement etc. in compliance with
ADA requirements.
Site and Stormwater Management Inspection included:
- Review of MEP, Utility and Topographic plans and verification of existing
utilities and connection by conducting utility survey.
- Review grading plan and storm water management practice in conformance with
the new guidelines as provided in the DEC’s Design Manual.
