Load Rating of Beam Connections at 225 Cadman Plaza East, Brooklyn, NY for DASNY:

AEG provided the engineering services to determine load carrying capacity of the existing beam connections at ground and first floor for new/additional wall load at 225 Cadman Plaza East, Brooklyn, NY. AEG analyzed the load capacity of typical connections and provide structural details to reinforce the existing connections. AEG additionally submitted signed and sealed report with floor load capacity and backup drawings/calculations to client for review and approval.

AEG's Scope of Work included:

• Site visit to familiarize with the scope of work and collect necessary data.
• Review of existing structural drawings for load capacity of the existing connections and proposed plan to determine the additional load on these connections.
• Detail analysis of the existing connections to see, if the existing connections can carry new/additional wall loads and/or modify the connections.
