Howard has been practicing architecture for over 35 years. He is licensed
to practice in 5 states, NY, NJ, CT, MD & PA and is NCARB Certified. He is
also member of the American Institute of Architects, the Society of American
Military Engineers and a Professional member of the Roofing Consultant Institute.
His experiences include various high level supervisory positions with many large
A & E firms. As a former Managing Architect with the NYC School Construction Authority
he was responsible for the management of numerous consulting firms and over $200
million worth of design and construction dollars each fiscal year. He was also with
Dormitory Authority State of New York managing many educational projects at various
colleges and universities.
As an architect, Howard has worked on assignments at the US Military Academy West Point,
the expansion of Ft. Drum to serve the 10th Mountain Division, NYCHA, DASNY, US Postal
Service, NJ DPMC, NWK HA and the NYC SCA. He has also private sector experience designing
various buildouts for tenants in hi-rise commercial office buildings.
