AEG is working on this project with KS Engineers; scope of work is to undertake building condition inspection of four schools in Elizabeth for Elizabeth Public School.

The overall project objective is to provide EPS a bid package for repair details in order to maintain its building assets in a state of good repair for many years to come.

Building inspections include all exterior and interior components such as façade, roof, concrete floor, retaining walls, structure etc.

Each inspection is conducted by a two-member team comprising an architect, and structural engineer. Inspection reports contain building templates (plan), elevation references, and photographs of typical deficiencies. Any hazardous conditions or structural deficiencies that were identified were reported immediately to EPS. Building components were rated on a scale of 1 to 5, and were given an estimated "remaining useful life" (in years) by the inspectors. Component deficiencies were identified and quantified. Recommendations to repair or replace were made, along with a recommended time period in which to for repair/replace each component.

After the approval of reports by EPS, Bid Documents was prepared with drawings showing repair procedure, specifications and cost estimate. Construction support services were provided before, during and after the construction.
