Condition Assessment of Concrete Retaining Walls &
Design of Stormwater Drainage for Southridge Hills
Development in South Brunswick, NJ:
AEG conducted inspection of the existing concrete retaining walls (height
varies between 5'-0" to 20'-0"). The scope of this
inspection was to observe existing condition of
retaining walls for tilting and deterioration of
concrete due to water ponding behind the walls. AEG
consider options for repair/replacement of existing
drainage system that was poorly constructed and had
been clogged. AEG present the findings to the SRH
Board with recommendation and design of a new
drainage system and associated cost estimate.
Scope of work included:
- Site Inspection and identify the defects on drawings with photographs
- Preparation of report with findings, photos and recommendations
- Preparation of drawings and specifications for concrete repair and for new
drainage system.
