Site/Civil Engineering Site, Civil & Stormwater Design for New 12,000 SF Residential Building at Richmond Hills, NY for MTN Development Group: AEG was retained as Civil Engineers by MTN Development Group as part of their Design Team to de-construct the existing building and construct a new four story building (12,000 SF) with residential units and basement parking. AEG's responsibilities included, review of MEP, utility and topographic plans, verify existing utilities and connection by conducting utility survey, grading plan and storm water management plan in conformance with the new guidelines as provided in the DEC's Design Manual. The final drawings provided the client included details of all utility connection, sidewalks, ramps, curbs, pavement etc. in compliance with ADA requirements. AEG prepared Builders Pavement Plan for NYCDOT / DOB approval and provide hydraulic calculations and storm water drainage plans for NYCDEP approval. These plans included pipe profiles, pipe sizes, roadway cross sections, connection details, catch basin & MH details etc. |
