A/E Design for new Bank Building (4500 SF) at Queens, New York for Valley National Bank (VNB):

AEG provided Architectural and Engineering design services for new 4,500 SF single story bank building at Queens, NY for Valley National Bank

AEG's scope included:

  • Developed architectural plans, elevations, sections and details per VNB standards.
  • Design of new single story building with Gravity, Seismic and Wind load combination in conformance with NYC-Building Code.
  • Design of building framing system consisting of web joists supporting on steel girders and steel columns. The columns were supported on concrete foundation tied with grade beams.
  • Design was based on IBC 2006 that includes Accessibility requirement, Means of Egress, Access Travel Distance, Exterior brick veneer supporting details and Lintel details for large openings.
  • Provided concrete foundation and other connection details.
  • Coordinated with Electrical & MEP drawings.
  • Designed sub-slab depressurization system in conformance with the NYS Department of Health Guidance for evaluating soil vapor intrusion.
  • Prepared drawings for NYC-DOB approval.
  • Provided Construction Drawings & Specifications.
